I am doing some research on grief.  If you were to name the one thing that helped you the most on your healing journey, what would it be?  I am so curious?

IN A WORD: JESUS!

When the world walked out, Jesus walked in, sat on the edge of my hospital bed, held my hand & didn’t say a word. His presence was enough. While I was in the hospital, suffering excruciating pain, suffering with a wrist jack fixator, broken bones, I received word that my father had passed away, but I was unable to fly to his funeral in another state, which really broke my heart.

After a year in the hospital, several surgeries, several years of physical therapy, He healed me slowly, little by little, showing me that He is real, His promises are true, His Word is the Truth, He is the WORD, God loves me, Jesus paid for my sins at Calvary, that I belong to HIM, the devil is a liar, vain is the help of man, & He alone is Wonderful, Counselor, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, & my Great Physician who saved, delivered, & healed me, then restored the years the locusts had eaten, giving me double for my trouble. Once He began to be my EVERYTHING, then everything changed forever.

I lost everything I had in this world, literally. I lost my job due to being hospitalized & physically unable to return, I lost my apartment, my vehicle was repossessed, my income disappeared, BUT GOD. He sent strangers, angels unawares, to take care of me, to nurse me back to health, to feed me, to take me to the hospital, to the ER, to the surgery center, to the physical therapists, etc. HE SAVED MY LIFE, THEN HE SAVED MY SOUL, THEN HE RESTORED A THOUSAND TIMES MORE WHAT I HAD LOST. HE GAVE ME EXCEEDINGLY, ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ANYTHING I COULD ASK OR IMAGINE. NOBODY CAN TELL ME GOD ISN'T REAL OR JESUS CANNOT SAVE & I WILL NEVER, EVER BOW TO BAAL AS THE WORLD APPEARS TO BE DOING BY THE HOUR.

I GIVE GOD ALL THE GLORY, ALL THE TIME. GOD IS EXALTED, SATAN IS DEFEATED & JESUS CHRIST IS LORD.
