I am doing some research on grief.  If you were to name the one thing that helped you the most on your healing journey, what would it be?  I am so curious?

MY RESPONSE:

IN A WORD: JESUS!

When the world walked out, Jesus walked in, sat on the edge of my hospital bed, held my hand & didn’t say a word. His presence was enough. After some time in  the hospital, suffering excruciating pain, with nails in my bones,  I received word that my father had passed away.  I was unable to fly to his funeral in another state, because of the injuries and the metalworks, which really broke my heart. 

After a year in and out of  hospitals, including several surgeries, years of physical therapy, He began healing me slowly, little by little, showing me that He is real, His promises are true, His Word is the Truth, He is the WORD, God loves me, Jesus paid for my sins at Calvary, that I belong to HIM, the devil is a liar, vain is the help of man. He also showed me that He alone is Wonderful, Counselor, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, and my Great Physician who saved, delivered, and healed me, though like Jacob, I have a limp. He began to restore the years the locusts had eaten, giving me double for my trouble. Once He became my EVERYTHING, then everything changed forever. Let Him be your everything. I promise you will not regret it. 

I  lost everything I had in this world, literally, but what I gained is priceless and like gold tried like fire. I lost my fantastic job due to being hospitalized and physically unable to return within the allotted time. I lost my apartment, my vehicle was repossessed, my income disappeared, BUT GOD. He sent strangers, angels unawares, to take care of me, to nurse me back to health, to feed me, to take me to the hospital, to the ER, to the surgery center, to the physical therapists, etc. 

HE SAVED MY LIFE, THEN HE SAVED MY SOUL, THEN HE RESTORED A THOUSAND TIMES MORE WHAT I HAD LOST.  BLESSED BE HIS NAME FOREVER. HE GAVE ME EXCEEDINGLY, ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ANYTHING I COULD ASK OR IMAGINE. NOBODY CAN TELL ME GOD ISN'T REAL OR JESUS CANNOT SAVE WRETCHED SINNER LIKE ME. LIKE THE APOSTLE PAUL PROCLAIMED, I WAS THE CHIEFEST OF SINNERS. I WILL NEVER, EVER BOW TO SATAN/BAAL AS THE WORLD APPEARS TO BE DOING BY THE HOUR, TO THEIR EVERLASTING SHAME. 

I GIVE GOD ALL THE GLORY, ALL THE TIME. GOD IS EXALTED, SATAN IS DEFEATED AND JESUS CHRIST IS LORD. BLESSED BE HIS NAME FOREVER.
